Pickleball, invented approximately 50 years ago in 1965, is one of the fastest growing sports in America. A combination of tennis, ping-pong and badminton, pickleball is played with a paddle and whiffle ball on a court approximately one-fourth the size of a tennis court. Similar to your home, a pickleball court includes a kitchen — the area on the pickleball court 7 feet from the net on either side in which you cannot volley — also called the “no-volley” zone.
