One of our highlights every year that we travel to Florida is visiting Downtown Disney — it’s a nice change from the hustle, bustle and high ticket prices at The Magic Kingdom, Epcot and the various Theme Parks located in central Florida.

You’ve likely already heard that pickleball is the fastest growing sport in America. After walking through Downtown Disney’s Marketplace, it became readily apparent that pickleball is the fastest growing sport here as well! Shown below you can see that several of Orlando’s VIP’s donned the pickleball gear and struck a pose with yours truly — including Buzz Lightyear, Mr. Potato Head, Donald & Daisy Duck and the incomparable Mickey & Minnie Mouse!
In addition to these VIP’s of Downtown Disney, on this Florida trip I also had the pleasure of introducing pickleball to some of Westgate Resorts’ permanent residents. That’s it for now. Hope to see you on the pickleball courts.
