How to Come up with the Best Team Name
If you want to come up with your own team name, there are a few things to consider:
- If you have a team sponsor, you might want to make the sponsor happy and include them in your name (just sayin’).
- How do you want your team portrayed? Do you want to be intimidating, or do you just want to play for fun?
- Does your team consist of all women, all men, or mixed?
- Does your team consist of newer players or advanced ones?
- What do your team members have in common?
- Do you want to represent a pickleball club or a geographical location?
Answering some of these questions should give you some ideas. In addition to answering these questions, play with words. Try rhyming words, or adding funny adjectives to pickleball terms.
Remember, you want to come up with names that are fun, catchy, and meaningful.
Once you have a list of some different name options, let the members of your team narrow it down to what they like the best.
